I’m back! (Did anyone notice I was gone?)
It has been a year since I last blogged. Give me a break – after all, I did have another child! I was a bit put off by the seemingly self-centeredness of many blogs, including my own. Who really wants to read my rantings anyway!? My husband already, unwillingly, has that job. Instead of rambling on about my personal issues and thoughts, I wanted a blog that would do some good.
As I was sitting in adoration of Our Lord today, I found myself thinking about somethings I wish all Catholics were aware of. Specifically, what would I include in out parish bulletin if I were to write it? Since I will not be offered that job anytime soon, I thought, hey, I could write my own bulletin – my own blog! And here I am, back at the laptop. My mission is to bring to the minds of Catholics things I think they should know and act upon. Here goes…

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother: to you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
